I intend to telephone to you later this evening to ask you whether or not
you feel that it might not be worth while for me to telegraph to Bob La Follette and
Tinkham on this subject. Any American who opposes the sale of arms and ammunition

Your Aunt Dora came to the Chancery to call on me this afternoon and again evoked
not only my affection but my admiration. In her customary quiet manner, she announced
that she had now given up her passage on the 18th and had taken passage on the 29th and
then, with a twinkle in her eye, said: "But you know, I am rather tenacious". In other
words, she hasn't the slightest intention of leaving her apartment until she is blown out of it
. She is really superb.

Love to you all and good luck.
