New York Central & Hudson R.R. Co. Construction Department RED/h NEW YORK, January 10th, 1912 Hon. F. D. ROOSEVELT, 52 Wall Street, NEW YORK CITY. Dear Sir:- I have been asked to confer with you in regard to certain questions, involving our mutual interests between POUGHKEEPSIE and HYDE PARK. I believe our local men at Poughkeepsie secured from you a blue print shoving the lands of the Railroad Company as you consider they should be. I attach herewith blue prints of our right of way maps in this immediate vicinity on which I have plotted in lead pencil the boundary lines as you think they should be, and in red shading there has been outlined our right of way lines as have been fixed according to our deeds. On these sheets you will also note the records of these various deeds and conveyances. I should be pleased to call upon you at any time and place suited to your convenience to discuss the matter. I also attach a blue print on which has been shaded in yellow a very small parcel which we would like to secure from you. Encs. Yours truly, R. E. Dougherty DISTRICT ENGINEER. |
