New YORK TELEPHONE COMPANY Albany, N. Y., March 31, 1938. Mr. Henry T. Hackett, Attorney & Counselor-at-Law, 226 Union Street, Poughkeepsie, New York. Dear Mr. Hackett: This is with reference to your letter of March 9, 1938,regarding the placing of poles along the Post Road. Because the property owners in this vicinity were not pleased with the original plan, we are submitting another plan which we trust will meet with their approval. I am enclosing a print which shows the proposed route along which we should like to place the poles and cable. You will notice that the new plan provides for the concealment from view of the poles and cable from the Post Road. We greatly appreciate the interest you have shown in the solving of this problem. Very truly yours, S. F. Hamilton Right-of-Way Supervisor. SFH:MLD |
