Mr. Mahoney, the Canadian Charge d'Affaires
ad interim, called at the Department on June 12th
and left a copy of a telegram dated June 10th from
the Canadian Minister in France to the Secretary of
State for External Affairs at Ottawa, with the re-
quest that this telegram be transmitted to you. I
enclose a copy of this telegram.
