to his or her children, and in default of children, to my children 
and to the decendants of those who may be deceased, per stirpes 
and not per capita.
 
Fourth:-  In every case wherein a benificiary of a trust fund 
created in the foregoing paragraph, who may be under the age of 
twenty one years, shall need any portion of the income from his 
or her fund for his or her proper maintenance, education or 
support, I direct my said Trustee to use and apply such protion 
of such income for the proper maintenance, education or support 
of such beneficiary, as may be necessary for such purpose, until
he or she attains the age of twenty one years.
 
Fifth:-   All the rest, residue and remainder of my property
and estate, real and personal, and of every name and kind,I give 
devise and bequeath unto my wife ANNA ELEANOR ROOSEVELT absolutely 
and forever.
 
Lastly:-  I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint the Bank of 
New York and Trust Company and John M.Hackettt, Executors of this 
my lasw Will and Testament, and I hereby nominate, constitute 
and appoint the Bank of New York and Trust Company, Trustee of
the trusts created herein, hereby revoking all other and former
Wills by me made. I hereby authorize and empower my said 
Executors to sell any of my real estate, provided my said 
wife shall consent thereto, and to execute,acknowledge and deliver 
the purchaser or purchasers thereof all proper deeds of 
conveyance thereof.
 
     IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto subscribed my name
and  affixed my seal this      day of February in the year 1923.
