English-Balkan front and at the same time starting an
extensive "trial" landing offensive against the English
coast.
The plan under a means the delaying of the landing
offensive against England, in consequence of the shifting
of forces. To make up for this, reenforcements are pro-
vided for the completion of the prepartions for a subsequent air
and landing offensive against England.
The plan under b means the adaptation of the offensive
plans in the Balkans to a possible trial invasion operation
against England. It means at the same time a strengthening
of the military pressure on Russia until the completion of
the operations in the Balkans and against England.
