     On both dates evacuation was in progress, and large numbers of people were seen on the
platform and outside the station.
(b)FRIEDRICH FRANZ RAILWAY AND GOODS STATION A/655,5/67,A/666,5/121
     All station buildings have been destroyed by fire.
     The Booking Hall and Offices were seen burning on 26.4.42 and by the following day all
the Goods Station bulidings were also burnt out.
(c)RAILWAY TRACKS
     Railway tracks have been damaged in a number of places.  Considerable damage to the
lines N.W. of the Main Railway Station was visible on 25.4.42.
     Lines landing from the FRIEDRICH FRANZ Station were also seen damaged on 26.4.42
and further damage was caused here during the night of 26/27.4.42.
     On 26.4.42, a direct hit on the level crossing of the main ROSTOCK[STRALSUND line
at WEISSES KREUZ, S.E.  of ROSTOCK was visible, and repair work was already in progress.
     The railway line which runs alonside the Heinkel Works at MARIENEHE was soon to be
damaged in two places on 27.4.42.; repair work was already in progress to the more southerly of
these points.
     Several other small items of damage to tracks are noted; these would all however be easily
repaired.

(d) ROADS
     There have been a number of scattered hits on minor roads.
5. CRATERS
     A number of craters are seen in open country all round the town particularly to the North,
West and South west of the town.  A number of these appear to have been aimed at gun
positions.
     The country to the east and south east of the town is not well covered.
