               OF OCCURANCE
 
       1. According to preliminary reports for the period May 1 - May 21st, 403,000 tons or 68 per
cent of the tonnage sunk has been lost in the Atlantic Ocean, south of 30x North and west of 45x
West.
 
       2. Losses in the Atlantic Ocean, north of 30x North, west of 45x West, were 49,000 tons.
 
       3. Locations for sir~ings for which information by date of occurrence is available are shown
