came that he believed that further military resistance was futile, he intended to destroy all of the
private property in the occupied countries and in Germany, in order to produce a mass wave of
communism. He would then announce himself as a communist, and throw his lot in with the

technical ability and organizing capacity, they could succeed in dominating greater Russian
