       I have had the enclosed very confidential 
chart prepared, based on information secured for
me by the O.N.I.
 
      Please note that although the imports are 
below the stated requirements, they are almost
equal to those of the first year of the war.
 
      I have asked O.N.I. to please try and get 
the December figures as soon as possible, because 
I am under the impression that they will show an im-
provement.
