13. Further operations to eastern NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES
a. Paragraph 12 discussed the implications of a campaign
through the ARAFURA-BANDA sea area for the purpose of seizing
the VOGELKOP region. If those operations are not conducted,
other offensive-defensive operations should be undertaken in
the TIMOR-CELEBES-CERAM area in order to maintain the security
of AUSTRALIA and subject enemy forces to attrition.
