      escorted by fighters attacked 2 300 A.F.V.'s and M.T. boats at
      Bir Elgo Bi and landing grounds at Gazala and Tinnni, again with
      unobserved results. Enemy casualties as follows: Seven J.U. 52
      and one H.E. 126 over Martuba and Barce and four S79's and another
      aircraft destroyed on the ground. Near Jalo three C.R. 42 shot
      down and two aircraft destroyed on the ground. Five British offensives
      sweep flown over forward area giving a total of 11 fighter squadrons.
      No enemy aircraft encountered. Several of our aircraft forced
      to land through sandstorms but all are safe. 19th, five J.U.
      8V's and two N.E. 109 destroyed on Timmi aerodrome.
