Dear Mr. Hackett:
 
                              This   will acknowledge
receipt of your letter of January15th, in connection with
the collection of the award by  the City of New York for 
certain property belonging to James Roosevelt. We feel
that in view fo the relatively  small   amount involved
as far as our estate is concerned, the proposal outlined
by Mr. Schneikrautin his letter to you of  December l7th
will  be satlsfactory. In other words, we think that if
he is able to collect this amount for the estate a fee
of around $200.00 would not be out of line.
