Dear Mr. Hackett:  
                  
                                     I am interested on
behalf of some clients in the collection of an award from 
the City of New York.
 
                                   Part of this award is
owned by James Roosevelt's Estate. One of the  heirs at law
is James R. Roosevelt whos Estate I understand you
represent.
 
                                  The owners  of the other
one-half interest is the President, Franklin Delano
Roosevelt. Both halves are subject to a life estate in the
President's mother, Mrs. Sarah Delano Roosevelt.
              
                                  At the time of collection
of this award on behalf of my clients, who are the owners
of a part interest in the same,it occured to me that 
possibly James  R. Roosevelt's Estate would be interested
in collecting their interest.
