Dear Franklin:
Arthur S. Halpin told me that he holds
a bond and mortgage on property at New Hamburg owned
by the Millard Lumber Company, which he considers suitable
for the investment of the funds of St. James Church. He also
told me that you had written him that if I approved of it,
it would be all right.
I think that a committe from the Vestry should
view the the property and pass upon the suffieciency of the
security and that the responsibility should not be placed
upon one person alone.
With kindest regards, I am
Sincerely yours,
[Henry T. Hackett]
