Dear Franklin: I am enclosing herewith a proposed deed and acopy of the same from you to Mrs.Backer of that part of the Dumphy farm lying between Violet Avenue and the part of it on the east which you now own. There is reserved in the deed a strip of land fifty feet in width along the north line for a road and it is conveyed subjec to the lease of Hicks and the rights, if any, of the Telephone Company and the Central Hudson Gas & Elec. Corp.therein. If the deed is satisfactory to you, it might be well to send the copy to Mrs. Backer for her inspection as she mightinsist upon a surveyed description. If Mrs. Backer is also satisfied with the deed you may sign and acknowledge the original before a Notary Public and have the proper officer attach his certificate showing the authority of the Notary to take the acknowledgment and return the deed to me with a check for $9,000. and I will record the deed from the Newbold Trustees to you and the deed from you to Mrs. Backer.
