            I received your letter of Dec 14th 1939 with 
respect to my interest in the property near Poughkeepsie.
 
            Evidently you misunderstood our previous 
conversation as my sisters decision had nothing to do with 
my thoughts in connection with the sale of my interest. 
At the present time your offer does not seem attractive to
me, but if you have an offer to make some time in the future
I will be glad to hear from you.
