                                   June 28, 1940.
 
Dear Mr. Hackett:-
 
            The President asks me to tell you that he 
is sorry not tho have seen you while he was at Hyde 
Park last weekend but hopes to see you when he comes 
up over the Fourth of July. 
 
            The President would like to know if there 
is anything new on the George P. Davis case and if the 
insurance company is handling it all right.
