Dear Henry:
 
          You did just right in turning down that $500 
demand from Rose Dewitt Lewis. I think she and perhaps 
the others will come around if we give them a little 
m ore time.
 
          I hope to see you at luncheon on July fourth 
at 1:00, before we turn over the Library to the government.
