MEMORANDUM FOR
HENRY T. HACKETT
As I remember it, this is the farm due east of the
famous controversial wood lot and north of the Peter Rohan
farm. As I recall it, Jacobs wanted to sell for $8,000
which you and I both thought was too high. It seems to me
if we could get it for a lower price, and if Peter Rohan
were willing to rent it for the amount of the taxes, it
might be worth considering.
Will you answer this letter for me?
