Dear Franklin:
 
              Hatfield has just received a letter from 
Rose DeWitt Lewis, who owns a 1/6 interest in the Lent 
wood lot, viz:
 
"Will you please let me know how your client feels about 
the settlement of my claim on the Hyde Park property since 
I would like to close the matter."
 
              You now own 3/6 of the wood lot and have paid 
the others $200. each.
 
               Kindly let me know how he shall answer her.
