Dear Franklin:
 
             I have just received the tax bills for your 
properties in the Town of Hyde Park amounting to $1,567.02.
 
             The balance in the bank now amounts to $577.50,
which includes Rohan's rent of $250. paid since January 1st,
1941 and not included in the statement I sent you. Moses
Smith has promised to pay something, but has not yet fulfilled
his promise.
 
             Will you kindly send me enough so i can pay 
the taxes.
