February 18, 1941
Dear Mr, Hackett:
Mr. Hall Roosevelt tells me that he has replied
to your letter of February seventh and that he has assured
you that it is perfectly satisfactory to him to have you
transfer all insurance on the properties to Mr. Luckey.
I hope you will be good enough to let him know when this
has been done as, of course, he is very anxious to be
completely covered.
Also in regard to the taxes on all the houses,
will you be good enough to send me a statement as the
President will need this for his income tax return, end
at the same time, break it down so that he can notify
Mr.Hall Roosevelt of his share.
I think the above arrangement is satisfactory to
Mr. Hall Roosevelt and it will clear up a number of things
in our own books.
Very sincerely yours,
M. A. LeHand
