Feb. 7th, 1941. G. Hall Roosevelt, Esq., Hyde Park, Dutchess Co., N.Y. Dear Mr. Roosevelt: I acknowledge receipt of copy of your letter of February 3rd, 1941 to Miss LeHand in reference to the duplication of liability insurance on the properties of the President and yourself. On October 30th, 1940 I wrote to the President in reference to it and enclosed a copy of a letter from Mr. Luckey, who carries the President's liability insurance, pointing out the adventages of having one company carry the insurance so that in case of an accident there would be no confusion as to which company was to assume the responsibility. If you agree, please notify me that you want Mr. Luckey to carry the entire liability insurance protecting the President and yourself and also notify Mr. Graham to cancel his policy. Very truly your, Henry T. Hackett |
