Nov. 19, 1941. Hon. Franklin D. Roosevelt The White House Washington, D. C. Dear Franklin: Your sister-in-law, Mrs. James R. Roosevelt, has become involved with the N. Y. State Unemployment Insurance Dept. at Albany, N. Y. and is subject to certain penalties. It appears she has never made out or filed social security or unemployment returns for her employees since the law went into effect. Will you please suggest the name of the proper person to take up this matter with the Department at Albany. I do not think that they will pay much attention to me. With kindest regards, I am Sincerely yours, Henry Hackett |
