             ESTATE OF FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT
                  MINUTES OF MEETING OF 
                EXECUTORS --- APRIL 1, 1947
 
        A regularly scheduled meeting of the Executors was held in
the library of the offices of O'Connor & Farber, 120
Broadway, New York, N.Y. on April 1, 1947 at 2:30 P.M.
There were present at the meeting James Roosevelt, Basil
O'Connor, Henry T. Hackett, Henry S. Hooker and Earle R.
Koons.
 
        An agenda and report on matters arising subsequent to the
January 26, 1947 meeting of the Executors was submitted by
Mr. Koons and the following matters were considered and
action taken after full discussion:
 
I. Contract with Mrs. Roosevelt for purchase of real estate.
 
   The contract with Mrs. Roosevelt for the purchase of the
approximately 842 acres of land with improvements extending
from Mariches Creek to the eastern boundaries of the
property at a price of $85,000 subject to the approval of
the Surrogate's Court as executed by Mrs. Roosevelt on
March 27, 1947 was submitted to the Executors for their
approval and execution. The terms of the contract as drawn
were approval and execution. The terms of the contract as
drawn were approved and the contract executed in triplicate
by each of the three Executors. It was unanimously decided
that the customary 10% of the purchase price or $8,500
should be paid by Mrs. Roosevelt upon delivery of the
contract to her. Colonel Roosevelt stated that funds were
available for this payment and that he would arrange to
have a check delivered to the Estate for that
