                FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT AQUIRED TITLE TO THE
                  FOLLOWING PROPERTIES AS FOLLOWS:
 
1900    Wheeler, Bracken and east end of Boreel Place by Will of his 
        father, James Roosevelt, who died December 8,1900, subject 
        to life estate of his mother, Sara D. Roosevelt.
 
1900    Wood Lot in Town of LaGrange - as residuary legates under Will
        of his father. Confirmed by deed of J.Roosevelt Roosevelt and 
        Warren Delano,Jr. as surviving Executors of the last Will and 
        Testament of James Roosevelt, deceased.Recorded in Liber 364 
        of Deeds page 505 in the Dutchess County Clerk's Office.
 
1911    Bennett Farm - Purchased from Willet E.Bennett and wife for 
        $10,000.Deed dated Sept. 5, 1911. Recorded in Liber 370 page 
        494 in the Dutchess County Clerk's Office. (Val-Kill buildings 
        are on this farm)
 
1925    Tompkins Farm - Purchased from Sarah C.Tompkins for $7,000. 
        Deed dated July 3, 1925. Recorded in Liber 454 page 426 in the 
        Dutchess County Clerk's Office.
 
1927    Boreal Place - west of Post Road - By Will of his half brother,
        J.Roosevelt Roosevelt, who died May 7,1927, subject to the life 
        estates of Elizabeth R. Roosevelt, widow of J.Roosevelt Roosevelt,
        and Helen H. Robinson, daughter of J.Roosevelt Roosevelt.
 
                                                          
1935    East end of Dumphy Farm - Hill Top Cottage Purchased from Trustees 
        under Will of Thomas Newbold for $1,000. Deed dated June 5, 1935.
        Recorded in Liber 547 page 101 in the Dutchess County Clerk's Office.
 
1935    Washington Hollow Property - This property was purchased in the name
        of John E. Mack from Charles W. Allen and others. Deed dated Oct. 1,
        1935. Recorded in Liber 547 page 470 in the Dutchess County Clerk's 
        Office. Purchased for $7,500. subject to a $5,000. mortgage. Remainder
        of this property lying west of Mid-County Road and north of State Road
        sold by John K. Mack to Mendel Brown and Morris L. Effron. Deed dated
        April 2, 1945, for $5,000. At the time of this sale the above $5,000. 
        mortgage was paid off and satisfied so there was no mortgage on this
        property on April 12,1945.
 
1935    Rogers Land - Purchased from Executors of Will of Anne C. Rogers for 
        $5,000. Deed dated Oct. 15,1935. Recorded in Liber 548 page 391 in the
        Dutchees County Clerk's Office.
 
1935    Briggs Wood Lot - Purchased from Margaret Briggs for $500. Deed dated 
        Nov. 6, 1935. Recorded in Liber 548 page 245 in the Dutchees County 
        Clerk's Office.
 
1936    Rohan Farm - Purchased from Peter C.Rohan and wife for $24,500. Deed 
        dated April 1, 1936.Recorded in Liber 550 page 547 in the Dutchess
        County Clerk's Office.
 
1937    Hughson Farm and balance of Dumphy Farm-Purchased from Trustees under
        Will Of Thomas Newbold,deceased, for $21,000. Deed dated Nov.
        1,1937. Recorded in Liber 564 page 255 in the Dutchess County 
Clerk's Office.
 
1937    Wright Land - Purchased from Fred E.Wright and            
        wife for $1,960.50. Deed dated Nov. 18, 1937.         
        Recorded in Liber 563 page 501 in the Dutchess
        Clerk's Office.
