August 9, 1945 Re: Estate of Franklin D. Rcosevelt; Deceased Henry T. Hackett, Esq. 226 Union Street Poughkeepsie, N. Y. Dear Mr. Hackett: I enclose herewith copy of a iet%er dated August 3, 1945 which Mr. O'Connor received from Mr. Neil S. McCarthy relative to the Sarah Elizabeth Breen Estate. I should greatly appreciate receiving your comments to Mr. McCarthy's recommendations. You will recall that at the meeting of the Executors held at this office on July 30, 1945, it was decided that claims should be filed in the California proceedings by both the Estate and by The National Foundetion for Infantile Paralysis and that the matter should be adjudicated by the California 0curt. In view of Mr. McCartny's letter, are you inclined to charge your mind or do you feel that the Executors should adhere to their original decision? Sincerely yours |
