HENRY T. HACKETT
ATTORNEY & COUNSELLOR AT LAW
226 UNION STREET
POUGHKEEPSIE, NEW YORK
Oct. 6th, 1931.
Hon. Franklin D. Roosevelt,
Warm Springs, Georgia.
Dear Franklin:
I am enclosing herewith a copy of letter
Just reoeived from the Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corpo
ration in reference to the pole in the rear of the Tompkins
house, and also a copy of the letter I sent you on August
4th in reference to the same pole, to which I have never
received any reply.
I think it would be much cheaper to pay
the Company $25.00 to put in a new pole and remove the danger
than to run the risk of paying a much larger sum in case of
some serious accident.
Kindly let me know what you think about it.
Sincerely yours,
