Telegram from London dated April 26th.

. Two attacks by 28 and 40
aircraft on Malta April 25th. Mines laid, harbour objectives
bombed, damage not yet known. One aircraft shot down, one damaged.
2.
Military. Libya.
April 24th. Enemy
infantry with artillery support attacked southwest of
Perimeter. Attack was broken up 400 yards from our foremost defended
localities, many enemy
killed.
3.
Occupied France
. Air reconniassance
April 22nd showed no unusual movements on roads,
railways, but large number of dumps. This with other information
suggests that preparations for
movement into Spain probably far advanced. Believed that 7 German
divisions including one
motorised area Bordeaux-Hendaye, these could be quickly reinforced.

Yugoslavia
. Now reported Yugoslavs
sank ships at 4 points near the Iron Gates causing
successful blockage. Attempt to block less important place partially
successful. Railway bridge
over the river believed demolished causing obstruction.

Bulgaria.
Sofia reported crowded
with German wounded. Hospitals overflowing, private
houses commandeered.

Royal Air Force.
April 25th. Fighters
shot down German bomber off Brighton. Night of April
25th/26th. 66 bombers sent to Kiel and small numbers to Bremerhaven,
Rotterdam, Berlin,
Ijmuiden and Brest. One Wellington missing.

German Air Force
, Very little day
activity April 25th. Night of April 25th/26th. 35 aircraft
operating chiefly over northeast England, 35 more probably mining,
5 others engaged against
shipping.
