Submarine sunk 1,000 tons ship in Rolvsoy Sound near North Cape on September 27th. 4. Submarine attacked two ships 3,000 tons, 5,000 tons, in Petsamo Harbor on October 2nd. She entered the harbor fired torpedos at ships alongside, claimed two hits. Though heavily attacked with depth-charges and having been entangled in a net, she got clear after two hours 5. A.M. October 3rd, enemy coastal guns fired 16 rounds at trawler(s) about five miles off Dover; no casualties, slight damage from splinters. 6.
