LIBYA. 
TOBRUK reported all quiet night 2nd/3rd December.
 
      
 
 
3rd December. Ground and air reconnaissance indicate enemy 
      in some strength in area triangle SIDI REOEGH - BIR CHLETA (20 
      miles further East) EL GOBI. Our patrols destroyed 3 Italian 
      tanks, 10 miles North of EL GOBI, 57 enemy tanks seen 8 miles 
      South East of SIDI REOEGH and enemy concentrated about BIR CHLETA 
      were engaged, but no details reported.
 
      
 
 
Royal Engineers destroyed 65 disabled enemy tanks, and estimated 
      a further 25 seen so badly damaged as not to require further 
      demolition.
 
      
 
 
Cloud restricted air operations but fresh digging seen in 
      area South of SISI to EL ADEM, also large concentration of motor 
      transports 5 miles South West of EL ADEM, and a great number 
      of motor transports (?widely) dispersed to South East of SIDI. 
      3 Blenheims squadrons effectively bombed enemy motor transports 
      concentrated on TRIGH CAPUOOO obtaining many hits on motor transports 
      and A. F. V's.
