      I am sorry, indeed, to learn from you that Ronnie Campbell is 
   being moved away from Washington and I shall miss him a l
 
      As you know, he was here as a rather Junior Secretary in the 
      days of the first world war. I am sure, however, that his new 
      berth in the Foreign Office will give him an excellent opportunity 
                   to do us all a lot of good.              
 
    I shall be back in about a week and I hope to see you th
