Mr. Taylor told Miss Tully that Mr. Wesley Jones in the State Dept. has   
    the letter from the Pope, which we are looking for.     
 
                                                            
 
 
Mr. Jones told me that he is holding the letter until Mr. Taylor completes   
his report to the President on his trip- Report is to be bound, etc. At   
that time Mr. Jones will return the entire file of papers which we sent   
             the Under Sec. of State 10/29/42.
