Dear Franklin:
 
          I have delayed writing you in reference to the
rerund mentioned in the letter from the Central Hudson 
Gas& Elec. Corporation to you of the 12th instant, which I
am returning enclosed herewith, as I expected to see you at
Hyde Park.
 
         I do not know of any other person to whom the
Company is making a refund in the vicinity of your property 
on Violet Avenue.
 
          I think it would be well,if you approve, that I
obtain from the Company their method of computing refunds and 
then obtain copies of their agreements with you and Mrs.Roosevelt
 in order to ascertain how generous they are.
