Rear Admiral Turner, who at the time w~s presiding at another meeting
in the Federal Reserve Building. ,It was understood that Rear Admiral
Turner and Brigadier General Gerow were not to accept the directive
unless it was en tirely agreeable to them~ and Brigadier General Gerow
was so informed by Colonel Robinett.
