         OUTLINE PLAN FOR A REVISED "ANAKIM"
 
                    Memorandum bY the Secretaries
 
     1. This addendum to J.C.S. 303, prepared by the Joint War 
Plans Committee, is submitted to the Joint Chiefs of Staff for 
consideration.
 
          Add to J.C.S. 303 the attached Enclosure "B" and 
Appendices "A" and "B" thereto.
 
    2. This study after approval by the Joint Chiefs of Staff 
may be issued as an Addendum to C.C.S. 218 at such time as may 
be considered desirable.
