"We hereby request that until further notice you remit all
interest and dividends to us periodically with your regular
monthly statements by check to the order of 'James
Roosevelt, Basil O'Connor and Henry T. Hackett, as Trustees
under the Will of Franklin D. Roosevelt, Deceased'."
Mr. Koons was authorized to allocate the proceeds of the
foregoing check for $8,003.42 to the proper accounts in the
Fulton Trust Company and Bankers Trust Company, in
accordance with the accounting for the period ending May
31, 1948.
VI. COMMISSIONS.
There was submitted to the Trustees a resume of the new
statute effective April 1, 1948 amending Section 285-a of
the Surrogate's Court Act regulating the rates and methods
of computation of the commissions of testamentary trustees.
It was pointed out that under the new statute three types
of commissions are payable to testamentary trustees:
(1) Principal commissions on the trustees' accounting,
(2) Annual income commissions, and
(3) Annual principal commissions.
After discussion, it was unanimously decided that the annual
income commissions and annual principal commissions be
computed and paid to the Trustees in September of each
year.
VII. LEGAL EXPENSES.
Mr. Koons submitted a bill of O'Connor & Farber for actual
out-of-pocket disbursements incurred in connection with the
entry of the final accounting decree and the operation of
the trust in the
