aggregate amount of $355.07. The various items were examined and determined to be proper administration expenses chargeable against the trust principal and payment of the same was authorized. Mr. O'Connor did not participate in this discussion but left the meeting at this point to meet an engagement previously made by him. The question of compensation to O'Connor & Farber for legal services rendered for the Trustees since September 15, 1947 was submitred to Colonel Roosevelt and Mr. Hackett for their consideration. Mr. Koons described and explained the nature and extent of the services rendered and it was unanimously decided that the payment of $7,500.00 for legal services for the period ending September 1, 1948 would be fair and reasonable. Since a considerable amount of time and effort was required in connection Kith the pending sale of the Hyde Park real estate, Messrs. Roosevelt and Hackett authorized the payment of $4,500.00 on account of counsel fees out of the proceeds of the sale of the real estate and the payment of the balance of the fee of $3,000.00 in September, 1948. After tentatively fixing July 20, 1948 at 10:00 A. M. for the next meeting of the Trustees, the meeting was adjourned. |
