VII. Accounting Mr. Koons reported that although the final receipt for payment of the New York Estate tax has not as yet been issued it is expected that this matter will be terminated some time before the end of April. Whereupon the Executors unanimously decided to close the various schedules of their account as of March 31, 1947, and make every reasonable effort to complete and file the accounting before the end of April of this year. In addition to the allowance of the Executors'accounting Mr. Koons was authorized and directed to submit the following questions to the Surrogate's Court for determination in connection with the account: 1. Ownership and disposition to be made of President Roosevelt's papers and files 2. Approval of the sale of the Hyde Park real estate to Mrs. Roosevelt for $85,000 and the Campobello real estate for $1,000 3. The determination and allowance of attorneys' fees Mr. Hackett reported that the Surrogate had indicated to him that he will enter interlocutory orders on the various questions submitted as they are determined and will enter a final decree covering every phase of the proceeding after all matters have been finally concluded. VIII. New York Central Railroad siding. Mr. Koons reported that he had recieved a number of commiunications from Mr. H. F. Gassett, Trainmaster of the New York Central System at Poughkeepsie, N. Y. requesting the consent of the Executors to the removal of the railroad spur or siding leading off main track three at Hyde Park and serving the Roosevelt Estate.
