My dear Mrs. Roosevelt:
 
 
Though I have never 
had the pleasure and honor of meeting
you, I am glad to learn that you are
taking a vacation in Europe and hope
you may be able to visit Germany
before you return. In case you
should come this way I trust 
you will let us know 
beforehand so that all of us
may be at home, and be able
