During the early part of the night the usual scale of enemy attack was maintained over London as main objective although other raids visited Liverpool, Manchester and Bristol areas. Later in the night activity was greatly reduced and by early morning country was clear. Mine laying activity is suspected off the East Scottish Coast. In London area no damage of military importance is reported but some dislocation of rail and road services was caused and two factories and a power station were hit but it is believed output will not be seriously affected.
