In accordance with your request, I addressed to Gil Winant 
      your invitation to the Duke of Kent to visit you either at Hyde 
      Park or in Washington during the time that he is on this side 
      of the Atlantic.
 
      
 
 
I have today received a telegram from the Embassy in London 
      which is in the nature of a reply to your message, a copy of 
      which I am attaching herewith.
