My dear Mr. President:
In accordance with your request, I addressed to Gil Winant
your invitation to the Duke of Kent to visit you either at Hyde
Park or in Washington during the time that he is on this side
of the Atlantic.
I have today received a telegram from the Embassy in London
which is in the nature of a reply to your message, a copy of
which I am attaching herewith.
Believe me
Faithfully yours,
