Hon. Franklin D. Roosevelt,
Warm Springs, Georgia.

Dear Governor:-

I enclose a copy of letter I have just received
from the Attorney General.

Evidently your brother did not go to the expense
of filling in all the land under water granted to him by
the State. Therefore, this grant is subject to forfeiture
by the terms of the grant. You might ask the Attorney
General to take it easy for awhile until you and Mrs.
Robinson can decide what you want to do about the thing.

It seems to me that the Attorney General is
unnecessarily efficient in this matter.

             With best wishes, believe me,
             Very sincerely yours,
             John Hackett
