On March 3rd, Hurricanes shot down five out of ten Italian bombers returning from Larissa. 12. German Air Force. Night of March 4th/5th, about 50 enemy aircraft were operating of which about 12 were minelaying in the Thames Estuary, the remainder swept South Wales area.
