The enclosed official reply on my part to your official communication 
      of June fourteenth is, I suppose, for the benefit of the records 
 archives of both our Governments for the delectation of his
 
                                                            
 
 
The point of it is that I hate like blazes cutting off or 
      diminishing the flow of "Bundles for Britain" --but 
                        it has to be done.                  
 
                                                            
 
 
However, if you personally long for a seven-to-one Martini, 
                  I will send it across pronto.
