Deprived of His Cigars, Churchill Described as 'World's Worst
Patient'
LONDON, Feb. 23 (I.N.S.). The condition of Prime Minister
Winston Churchill, who is suffering from severe catarrh and a
lung inflammation, is unchanged, an official bulletin said today.
He spent a comfortable night.
According to London newspapers, Churchill has turned out to
be the "world's worst patient.'' He is cantankerous and
restless, it was said, keenly resentful over being deprived of
his famous cigars, and insists on working and conferring with
his cabinet officers despite all medical advice to the contrary.
