Herewith copy proposed address to be given Friday in Aberdeen. 
      Please let me know tonight whether you see any objection in view 
      existing situation. Call your attention particularly to concluding 
      four paragraphs. The memorial which we are starting on the road 
      to completion today is of a character particularly suited to 
      a combined effort of Scotland and the United States. It typifies 
      a common reverence for principles which we still believe to be 
      of prime importance in individual and national lives, and its 
      construction will constitute a worthy exemplification of the 
      sharing of historic ideals.
 
      
 
 
We are marking today the consecration of the first American 
      bishop of the Anglican communion. Samuel Seabury was forced to 
      come to Scotland for refuge when he sought to serve God and his 
      fellow countrymen in the vocation
