     The following is the text of the Queen's reply to
 
the President's message: (BEGIN SPECIAL GRAY)
 
     "President of the United States, Washington.
 
Mr. Gordon will already have cabled how highly I appreciate
 
the feelings for my people and my House which prompted your and Mrs. Roosevelt's kind offer 
 
for which I tender my heart felt thanks and which I shall be very pleased to take into serious 
 
consideration should conditions become  worse
