I do not think the Chiefs of Staff will be ready before noon. 
      At any rate I believe this would be more convenient for them 
      than 10.30. Moreover I have some amendments to suggest to the 
              report which I have not yet completed.        
 
                                                            
 
 
In these circumstances, would it not be better to tell the 
      Press to come at 3.30 p.m. after the Degrees. This would give 
   plenty of time for you to catch your train around 5 o'clo
